What do you get when you combine festival honchos Bassjackers with Dutch dynamic duo Bali Bandits in a collaboration? You get a stomper of a track, aptly titled ‘Are You Randy?’, out NOW on Spinnin’ Records.
The Dutch acts combine on this festival ready track. Bassjackers inject their signature ‘synth festival’ sound with Bali Bandits’s signature fresh sound, which I like to call stop-and-go house – a mix between shuffle, dubstep, pop and French house. You can hear Bali Bandits all over with the octave shifts in every 8 bars.
